Advantages of saving documents to a CD.
This page is titled "advantages" but should be called the "disadvantages" of not storing documents to CD.
$ Managers and technical personnel spend 2 out of 4 hours looking for information.( Actually, their secretary looks for it while they take a coffee break.)
$ Most documents are copied as many as 15 times.
$ Companies can spend several hundreds of dollars to find a misfiled or to regenerate a lost document.
Large manuals or catalogs are inconvenient to carry from one location to another location. Manuals are also expensive to duplicate.
